backup Exec and Windows NT backup Media

what is backup Exec and Windows NT backup Media ?

Is it local Disk or tape

I found  under  imported media

It is the media from another installation of backup exec.

Mostly Tape. As per the screenshot it is tape media and present in library.

Backup Exec and Windows NT Backup Media is a Media set. Whenever you use any Medias from another installation of Backup Exec then this tape is put in this Media set after running an Inventory.

This is not only applicable for tapes but also for Backup to Disk folders if those B2D files were written by any other installation of Backup Exec.

where do i can find Backup to Disk folders ?

Backup To Disk  (B2D) folders needs to be created in Devices tab of Backup Exec. B2D are the folder which point to a physical location on the drive where you can take the backups. These folders created the B2D files inside which your data is stored.
