hı everyone

backup exec 2012 installed winn 2008 r2 server but I had a mesage and backup exec server service did not start.

(dl 580 g6 server )

Hi,

See if LiveUpdate is still running...seen that in a couple of incidents like this. If it is, stop it and try again.

Might also want to run a repair of the BEDB using BEutility.exe, and then re-enter the logon credentials for the BESA using BEutility.exe as well.

but didn't resolve my problem

I  investigated TURKİSH language and I found  problem source this web site www.cozumpark.com

web site wrote backup exec program only working english (US) regional settings. İf you chose turkish

you have to change from turkish to english (US).

When installing the server , I Choose turkis q keyboard and server operating system automaticaly

changed region from english to turkey

1. uninstall backup exec 2012

2 restart server and clean registry (I used carp cleaner for this job)

3 keyboard setting and all region setting changed from turkish to english us

4 install backup exec 2012

5 restart server

backup exec is working now
