backup exec 9.1 reinstall problem

We've added another server, running BU 11, to our netwrok of 4 servers. We removed the the current BU 9.1 from the main server and installed the BU 11 remote software to backup its files

We now need the 9.1 server to run again, so I reinstalled it but now when  try to create a backup job, I can't select any files (none are shown) - if I hover over the Server name I get:

"Computer Name. Not selectable because some sub-items cannot be backed up"

I've tried the repair option and set the services to run under the domain admin account (as well as the local account)

Pardon me, but why do you  need the v9.1 server?

Did you install all the serials?

Have you removed the v11d RemoteAgent and reinstalled the v9.1 agent on the servers you are trying to backup?

We need it because we've run out of space on the new backup, so we're having to use our old one too.

I didn't remove the 11d remote - I'll try that this weekend....
