backup individual mailboxes from exchange 2003 and restore them to a different server

Hi,

I need to backup individual mailboxes from exchange 2003 and restore them to a different server using backup exec 2010.

The backup completes successfully but the restore fail. Please help.

Are you trying to restore the email to different exchange server ?
Make sure the exchange server to which you are trying to restore is in same administrative group .
Make sure the account used for restore is the same which you used for the backup and verify the permissions of the account used to perform the Grt backup .

But is there a way that I can do an offline restore ? because at this moment the restore requires a mailbox to be online. How would i do it?

You can perform a restore to recovery storage group ....
