backup job hangs following restore

I notice that anytime I restore files, the scheduled back up job that runs that night will start and hang. I have to cancel the job and tell it to "run now" and it will complete normally. I always "run now" the restore job and it completes fine, so there is nothing holding up the backup job. Seems like a bug to me.

Info: Backup Exe V9.1 Rev. 4691, Windows 2003 server standard (no sp1 yet). Quantum DLT1 80GB drive. BE is used to backup/restore files from this computer only.

This is a known problem.

Either SP1 or SP2 will fix it. I recommend going straight to SP2

Thanks Ken! That was fast. I downloaded SP2. I will install the patch and see if that cures the bug.
