Hi Prajyot,

As part of your troubleshooting I'd do the following:

1. Update your media server with LiveUpdate (or manually) and any available patches, and once done, do a push-install to any remote servers you might have before trying the backup again.

2. Check and make sure an AV isn't actively scanning your BE services on the affected server. If so, stop the AV and run a backup job again. If it completes successfully, then put in an exclusion for the BE services.

3. If this is a remote server, uninstall the RAWS agent and then push-install it from your media server.

4. Run a repair of BE itself through Add/Remove Programs if the error occurs on the media server.

Thanks!
