cannot select SQL file when create a new job

from last week, I could not select MICROSOFT SQL SERVER when create a new backup job, the Veritas was hang.
Veritas version: Backup Exec 9.1
Server: Win2000 server with MS SQL 2000

Can you elaborate on this the Veritas was hang?

DO you want to say that the services were stopped or did job hag?

Do you see any events in the event logs?

Have you installed remote agent and the sql agent on the remote server?

Can you please elaborate more on your problem?
