confused about remote agents

We are wanting to add a server to our list of servers being backed up.  I know that a remote agent has to be installed on there.  Is that something we have to purchase additionally or do we already have unlimited remote agents to install on servers?
Thanks
Mike

Hello,

You need to purchase addational license depending on the application running on the server. If its a normal server (file, dns,dhcp...etc) you will require Remote Agent for Windows Server (RAWS) license. If you are running any application such as SQL, Exchange...etc, you will require respective licenses for backing up the application data by which you will be able to backup the application as well as the server files.

hope this helps...
