deduplication folder can be extended ?

Hello !)

First of all i`m sorry for my English .

I`m backup all data on deduplication folder. But free space (as always) was almost ended. I`m want to expand this folder with add new HDD.

How can i do this without lost any data ?

Hi there,

 

You can only have 1 dedupe folder on your media server.

It's also not recommended to move the deduplication folder to another drive with a different letter. It might be possible, but you need to ensure you keep everything exactly the same as it currently is.

so that, i`m cant extand (extand size ) my deduplication folder without lost data.

most likely not...or without having to redo it again...

Well if you had some sort of RAID array that can allow for expanding the array with more disks, then in Windows run an "extend," command you can do that and restart the BE services.

Outside of that, all of CraigV's comments still apply.
