differences? Backup Exec 10.0 / 10d

Is this a free upgrade? Is it the same product with a patch? How do I go about getting 10d if I have purchased 10.0?

If you purdhased 10 recently or are on the maintenance plan it is free. It now has symnatec writtten all over it. Veritas recommends it. It uses the same key codes as 10. I just did this so I know. I have used the upgrade and also installed from scratch.

You can download v10d from the Veritas site. it will accept all your v10 serials, but you should update all the Remote Agents that you have have installed.

Go to the Software downloads page http://support.veritas.com/menu_ddProduct_BEWNT_view_DOWNLOAD.htm and filter for "v10d" and "patch" to see if you need to download and install any of the HotFixes
