e00081d9 error - Service keeps failing

"e00081d9 Backup Exec job engine system service is not responding"

I keep getting this error on my server. The service fails as soon as the server starts. When I restart the service and then open the Backup Exec console, when I try to start a job, it fails with error: "The Backup Exec job engine system service is not responding."
