I installed a new Sony AITi260s tape drive along with Veritas Vers 10.0 software on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server and have not been able to get a good backup. I have two jobs set up - one for a daily (m,t,w,t) backup using media set 1 and then a full backup on friday using media set 1. I insert my AIT tapes from Sony and try a Test Run and everything goes fine - except when I try to run it at night - I get a e00084ec Error reading/writing data from/to media. I turned the Media alerts off thinking there was an error there. I looked at the errors on Veritas and they said about a driver issue - but the driver they have does not cover my SDX-700V (Sony AITi260) tape drive. Please help....
