Our backup server died. On that server we had backup Exec 11d and a Sony AIT-5 backup drive. I installed Backup Exec 11d onto a newer sever and setup the Sony drive on it as well. During the Backup Exec install it asked me if I wanted to use the Symantec drivers for the Sony drive. It was the default option and I left it as such. The install continued without error.
I can catalog an AIT-5 tape, label media, eject, retension, etc, but I get an error when trying to backup.
