I'm trying to exclude PST files from my tape backup. I replicate data every night using CPS, then my Backup Exec job writes the CPS protected resource to tape. I know how to exclude a file type from backups, but I can't save it because the path field is blank, however I can't select "Protected Resources" under the CPS resource. Can I just use an asterisk for the path and will that work? I don't want to test it because I have way too many PST's which will not fit on the tape.
