faulting module shuie.dll causes fault address 0x00003a65 error

hi,

Every time that I want to modify a Job backup the Client shutdown and the following error message is log:

"Faulting application BkupExec.exe, version 9.1.4691.48, faulting module shuie.dll, version 9.1.4691.0, fault address 0x00003a65"

More over now my jobs are failing because the engine is stopping dead. With the following log:

"The Backup Exec job engine system service is not responding."

I've seen this tread:

http://forums.veritas.com/discussions/thread.jspa?forumID=101&threadID=49243&messageID=4394365?

I did follow the suggested solution but It doesn't work.

first, latest MDAC 8.1 SP1 can't be installed on WK3 servers and I can't install W2K3 SP1.

I'm running: W2K3 standard edition with Veritas 9.1 rev. 4691

Please advise.

I've been trying several things now... but is no use.

I'm very tempted to remove Veritas and reinstalled it again although i don't know if this is going to do any good. Because if the problem is related with some of the latest hotfixes from Microsft it won't work.

Can anyone give some adivise.
