If anyone out there has any idea of how to assist me in this i would be grateful.
I JUST installed our new(used) scalar 1000.
I loaded the STUB driver and was configuring it in backup exec 10.
I head a loud crash and raced into the server room.
I found the robot arm broken free from its track and dangling from the drive belt!!!!
I immediately opened the door halting the operation, and wrapped the arm in bubble wrap and pulled the plug on the Scalar 1000.
It is now down and i have not evaluated how to get the arm back on the track as of yet, but i noticed no damage to the track or the arm.
If there is ANYONE out there that has experienced this, PLEASE reply here so that I will get the notice that you did.
I desperately need to repair this ASAP.
