Hi,
Have you looked at catdump.exe (or cattools.exe if using BE 2012) to pull the data from your media sets into a report?
Check below:
BE 2010: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH136392
BE 2012: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH198906
Thanks!

<ET OST="68" FP="" SZ="641068743680" LB="64" AT="0" CT="0" MT="3" ST="4460554" AR="1048576" XA="262144" RI10="0"/>

In the Backup Exec 2010 Admin guide see page 718 for Backup Sets by Media Set Report http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC4855
for the Backup Exec 2012 Admin guide see page 598 http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5211
or I think what you are wanting can be done in Backup Exec 2010 by going to Options - select Job Logs and then select the Summary information, directories,and files processed WARNING be prepared for for a lot of disk space to be used.
hope this helps

well, I have backup exec 2012 and this the command line I typed:
C:\Programmi\Symantec\Backup Exec>CatTool.exe -C -FN "C:\Programmi\Symantec\Backup Exec\Catalogs\xxHOSTNAMExx\{BFBE0739-BEDB-4EBF-89CE-A6611122AF47}_5.fh" -T TEXT -O "d:\cattolsreport\rep2.txt"
and the following is the file rep2.txt:
<ET OST="68" FP="" SZ="641068743680" LB="64" AT="0" CT="0" MT="3" ST="4460554" AR="1048576" XA="262144" RI10="0"/>
<ET OST="68" FP="win2k3-x64-srv-mail_replica" SZ="641068743680" LB="65" AT="0" CT="0" MT="3" ST="4460554" AR="1048576" XA="262144" RI10="1"/>
<ET OST="0" FP="win2k3-x64-srv-mail_replica\win2k3-x64-srv-mail-copy-000001.vmdk" SZ="21484431360" LB="119" AT="0" CT="0" MT="98343904" ST="9" AR="0" XA="0" RI10="2"/>
<ET OST="0" FP="win2k3-x64-srv-mail_replica\win2k3-x64-srv-mail-copy_1-000001.vmdk" SZ="9672929280" LB="19404263" AT="0" CT="0" MT="154725592" ST="9" AR="0" XA="0" RI10="3"/>
