how to ... Backup Exec for dummies

Hi,

does someone have a 'how to...' set a Backup Exec save for dummies ^^

I mean, I already got the 308400.pdf's 1750 sheets documentation for Backup exec 12.5 but I need to use only 10% of all the features.

I would like to find in few points the logical process for a new back up of my server. (only local hdd) like :
1 - media : define 5 new tapes from monday to friday (full backup per day, most simple is the best)
2 - job setting : set as minum bla bla
3 - job monitor ...

Is the order of the blue menu the logical process for a new backup : job setup -> job monitor -> alerts -> reports -> media
if define the media the first step, why it's in last in the menu ?
