how to create IDR with workstation DVD burner

Hello,
I have a Dell Power Edge1600 with Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition and Backup Executive for Small Business Server version 10.00 Build:5484.6 installed on it. I just installed the software and did not attempt any update patchs because my 1st backup job completed successfully. Do I need any specific patchs for this environment? Also, the server only has a CD drive and I would like to use my workstation's DVD burner to create an IDR DVD from the server's IDR wizard software. Can someone direct me to the proper documentation to complete this task. Thank you in advance.
