It seems that you are having a problem with the media.

Please elaborate the query to analyze the exact cause of the issue.
-- Are you using a standalone tape drive or robotic library?
-- The device which you are using is compatible with the Backup Exec.
-- The device is detected by Windows?
-- What staus it's showing in the Backup Exec?
-- In job log what is the exact error message it is showing?
-- Are there any event id's as 7, 9, 11 or 15 in the system event log?
