Does anyone have an idea on how to corrent this? Thankyou

The error message "Not enough free disk space for temporary catalog files" is returned when the location your catalogs are situated is full or not available, or the tape device driver is not supported.

Solution 1

Verify the location of your catalogs.
1. Proceed to the Tools Menu -> Options -> Catalogs
If the path does not exist, this will simulate a lack of free space. To resolve the error, please create a catalogs folder in a location with sufficient space.

Solution 2
Install Veritas Tape Device Drivers for your tape device.

Install the latest veritas driver from following link:
VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 - Device Driver Installer (20041101) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20041006) and Robotic Library Release (45) (Intel Only)

Additionally, you may also try to rename the current "Catalogs" folder under "Program Files\Veritas\BackupExec\NT". Stop all the Backup Exec services before renaming the folder.

Start all Backup Exec services and re-catalog the media.

For changing the location of Catalogs folder refer to following technote
