Media server : (new) windows 2008 r2 standard (2) lto3 tape drives - backup exec 2010 clean install - all patches
exchange server : (new) windows r2 standard - exchange 2010 - system drives are C: and E:
If I back up the exchange data base WITHOUT selecting the system drives (C: / E: / system state / shadow copy) the backup
goes thru fine without any problems.
but.....when I add those drives to the selection, the job fails and crashes the beremote.exe agent on the exchange server.
faulting application name: beremote.exe faulting module : bedsmbox.dll
the error directs to document id: 337862
again....another known problem. After being on support calls to india for over 4 hours and multiple weeks of waiting,
I am asking if anybody has this "beta fix" and has it solved the above "known" problem, and if so, can they send it
to me with instructions. Also, let me know if any user with this problem got the "beta" fix and after applying it, has caused
more or different problems thanks and appreciate it
