question: having a job start after one completes

It seems when I try and run backups with aofo against exchange and sharepoint databases bad things happen. Everything from bringing down my mail system to crashing the beremote.exe process on the server. Everything backs up fine when I turn off aofo on 11d which I understand best practice states. I find it strange that all these agents worked properly on 10d with aofo but i digress. So now I am looking at creating 2 separate jobs depending on the resource. Everything with agents I want to put on a separate resource list and create a job without aofo the remaining resources I will add to their own resource list and create a job with aofo.

Now I need to figure out the best way to run two jobs in a row. It would be ideal if I could fire one job off after the other completes. I have researched policies and these don't make sense when both are backup jobs and you have multiple selection lists. For those that aren't familiar, each job template in the policy will create a job against each selection list; so one job template with 2 selection lists create 2 jobs. I need to be able to specify a selection list for each job as is typical. So finally to my question what is the best way to have a 2nd job start after one completes where both will be using the same media.

thanks.

Policies should work fine, but if they don't

You can use a BEMCMD command line job called as a POST job from the first that releases the second
