slow backup - could it be sql issue?

hi

i had some problems after a new tape installed

now my issue is that my backup takes long.

9 MB/m

i wonder if it could this be beacuse of sql issue.

beacuse when upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1

i have got error saying i need to install sql 2000 sp3.

is there a good articale about backup exec and sql.
