v8.6 Title indicatec"completed" but status is "running"

Rcv an error generated by Veritas Backup Exec 8.6 whereas the Job Title field indicates "completed" but the job status indicates "running". The job hangs and the Backup Exec services have to be stopped and restarted. Backup is of an entire volume on a Windows server.

Other than stopping and restarting the services, are there any recommendations to prevent the job from hanging and the service status from continuously indicating that it's running? It's as if the backup jog is configured correctly, displays that it has been completed, but something causes it to hand and display a running status.

Do you have "Eject on End" specified as part of your job description?

If so, BackupExec will hang, waiting for a response the the Alert "Please remove media and reply OK"
