there is no error Smiley Surprised
because the size detect 0 kb when i select which database that i want to backup, so it can't backup.

Did you install the Agent for SQL Server license?

riztyo

yes, i have already installed SQL agent.
if i have not installed yet, the database was not  viewed in selection list when setting backup process, isn't it ?
in this case, the database are show, but i can't backup it.
i have so try, using advance open file (AOFO) for backup the database file from disk drive directory in SQL server.
i had installed open file agent to,but it same result, i can't backup it.

Please, enable debug on the Media server and the Remote server, then browse a few times for the SQL 2005 files databases.  Then collect the logs using TN 285911 and send me the .cab file using PM. On the message, please include a link to this thread.

Hello,

I have this errors which appear to come from Backup Exec 11d also.
I have tried the microsoft hot fix before, but no use.
Then I try to disable the AOFO function in the SQL Server 2005 Backup Job, it can be backup successfully.
any idea?

You dont need to buy the hotfix from microsoft, just call or email them and they will email it to you.

Yes, you just need to ask microsoft. But it stated that:

WARNING: This fix is not publicly available through the Microsoft website as it has not gone through full Microsoft regression testing.  If you would like confirmation that this fix is designed to address your specific problem, or if you would like to confirm whether there are any special compatibility or installation issues associated with this fix, you are encouraged to speak to a Support Professional in Product Support Services.

Anyway, it still can not fix the problems.
