write to local disk within a remote office

hi I'm wondering if we could use symantec backup exec on a server in one office, push the remote agent to an office in another city, and have the data backed up from the server with the remote agent copy to a server in that same office through that office's LAN.  Or will it send the data back to the symantec backup exec server and then from there to the final destination specified?

Data flows from Remote server to the Backup Exec server and then to the destination device.

You would have to install a Backup Exec media server in the remote office.

As well as the source -> media server -> storage  device path,  bear in mind that the RAWS is notoriously fragile over WAN links and the connection may drop and thus the job the job stop and fail
