How to recover data from files with .upload.temp extensions

A user at my company recently crashed his hard drive. When I tried to do a restore from the Desktop Laptop Option (DLO) i did not seen any files to restore. When I checked his storage area on the server I could see files, some 100MB or biggger but they all had .upoad.tmp extensions. Is there a way to turn these into normal readable data files?

These files are temporary ones which are created when a backup fails. The storage area would contain actual files if the backups were successful.

There are no other files in the storage area only the .upload.tmp. Any idea how to turn these tmp files into actual readable files?

There is no way... these files are temporary & do not contain any data.

There are numerous files, all look similar to this format, and I can't readt them.
