Restore on VIP Profile Symante DLO

HI All

Here's my scenario in a DLO ADMIN Console, I created a VIP Profile, (domain\user) and then i logged in into dlo client, i'm successfully backup the file on DLO Admin Console.,but when i click the restore tab on DLO admin console im still able to restore file on vip profile. I thought if you are a ADMINISTRATOR you don't have any right's to restore the files on VIP Profile (except if you use vip credentials).

I also read a admin guide for dlo setup and i foud this.

Select this check box to create a VIP profile. This feature restricts the
administrator from viewing and restoring data backed up by users
(such as CEO, executives, directors, officers) belonging to the VIP
profile.

Restoring VIP user data
■ The administrator can restore the data through the DLO
Administration console by using the VIP user credentials.
■ In case the VIP user leaves the organization, the administrator
should make sure to restore the required data before the VIP user
account is deleted from the Active Directory.

Login Account:

Dlo Admin console :Domain Admin

Dlo Services : Domain Admin\Also try domain user

Sql services :Domain Admin\

If you have a VIP enabled Profile user whose data is backed up, restore is possible only when you provide the AD credentials of that user.

Check if the user icon is shown different than the non-VIP profile user. It has a little red color collar icon for the user if he is VIP user.

If the issue is still there and the data is getting restored without prompting for the password i would encourage you to open a support case with VERITAS
