Archiving appointements causes reminders to re-appear

Hi everyone,

I have a question about calendar items been archived.

I've noticed on the initial archive of these items, the users will receive the appointment reminders for every appointment archived. Initially I thought this only happened on the first pass of the mailbox, and so told users to live with it as it would go away, however I have now been receiving reports that people are still getting these messages pop up as their calendar items are archived.

Has anyone else seen this, and is there a fix? Or is this a feature we need to live with?

This bug has been brought to our attention and our engineering team are aware of it. Looking at our bug fix system this is due to be included as a fixed in Version 7 SP3 which is due out on 26th October.
