So now I am backing up EV using BUE 12. I am backaing up a closed partition. It still put the server in read only mode...is that by design ?
Also , for some reason every time I run the backup job is add reg entries (enable expiry , Enable filewatch...) and then removed them from the server once the job is complete....am I nuts or does it actually do that ?
I have two server...one that runs most tasks and the other that is a directory server. Before backup exec 12...I only saw these registry entries onmy directory server.
