Different Collations on SQL-Servers

Hello,

can somebody tell me me if there is a problem if the VaultStore SQL Database on Server1 has the collation „Latin1_“ and the „Enterprise Vault Directory“ Database on Server2 has „SQL_Latin1_“?

The Deployment Scanner doesn't check this. It only checks the collations within a database.

I believe as long as it case insensitive then it should be OK. Ours were that same as you and I asked the question to Symantec Support when we migrated to a new SQL cluster.

According to this KB the Collation are checked in later versions of the Deployment scanner:
