Hi all,
I need to export a particular folder in an user's archive for import into a different archive. The documentation on this appears sparse and I am having difficulty finding a previous forum thread which provides an answer.
My folder is called something like: ABC A - M
So it has chracters, spaces and a minus symbol. Perhaps this does not matter, but I am making a point of the spaces in the folder name.
The export PST wizard says I need to use \rootfolder\subfolder.
So I have tried \rootfolder\ABC A - M which runs through really quickly, but does not process anything.
I then tried \ABC A - M which I left for an hour and it did nothing.
Has anyone been able to do this? All the other thread I have found do not seem to have provided the answer.
Thanks,
Jeremy.

OK So i just tested against a folder called "My Vault - 3 Years"
I did an export and put in "\My Vault - 3 Years", and it exported all the items no problems, this folder was directly under the Mailbox root (i.e Mailbox - My Name)
If it were a root folder it would be "\My Folder"
If it were a subfolder of inbox it would be "\inbox\My Folder" etc

will test it and let you know

quotation marks?
I assume you do use the quotationmarks in the folder name

no i don't use quote marks, sorry, should have made that more clear
I just meant i literally use \my folder .....or \inbox\my folder
The tests that i did was a folder below the mailbox root, it too had spaces and a hyphen

angry with myself now. I am not sure what I was putting in yesterday, but I just followed what you have been discussing - literally the below:
\ABC A - M
and is working. Problem between keyboard and chair.
Thanks for your help!
Jeremy.
