How do you restore an entire archive back into mailbox

Manx_Lad

We're using EV v8.0.2.1693

We need to move all our archives back in to their original mailboxes.

1) How can we achieve this?

2) Where a mailbox email has been deleted, will EV still restore the same archived email?

Thanks in advance

You can use the Export Archive wizard, for archives where the mailbox has been deleted you can export to PST.

I can't see that on this version (8.0.2.1693)

It is present in that version, it has been there for ages.

Are you logged in as the Vault Service Account?  Also, click archive first and then Left click it, see if that helps.

how many archives and how much data are you needing to export? it can be a very daunting and difficult task to perform manually on a large scale. if any of your data is being kept for eDiscovery purposes then there are even more reasons to consider this and also some data you lose with the manual export process.

we deal with specialized tools and services for exactly this purpose. drop me a message if you're interested in talking about it.

Does this process could potentially causing the Exchange Server transaction log to grow ?

Yes John .. it definitely will.

And the size of the information store(s) themselves.

Working for cloudficient.com
