How to test the N+1 failove model

Hello,

I try to test my lab demo for failover in use N+1 model.

I prepare 2 EV Server for testing.. however when I set EV server 1 fails (stop EV admin services), then change the DNS alias to other server (called EV Server 2). then go to Run the USL on EV Server 2, but on EV Server 2 could not and auto create the task/services..

Anybody can help me solve my problems.

Which version of EV are you running?

the EV server was 2 and version also 7.0 sp1

Not to appear rude, but looking at your other forum messages I would advise getting a consultancy firm in to assist you.

I think Mark is right.  This is not easy stuff and to do this sort of thing by forum assistance is going to cause you a world of hurt.
