Is it possible to keep items in PST after migration?

Hi, I am currently testing PST server based migration in EV7SP2.  This will be one off task to injest all contents of PST files currently in users desktop. The requirement is to not alter anything in the PST accept to archive all items to vault and leave the original items as it is.  Is it possible to use server based PST migrator or do I have to copy PST to central location and then injest.

I think your easiest option is to make a copy of the PST and ingest the copy.
