Hi all,
After I have installed V7.5 on the Vault server and its Agent on primary server which has Arcserv Backup running. The Arcserve just stop running with unknown error. Tried to restart server serveral but no luck.
So, we uninstall the agent, the the backup can run. Tried again to reinstall agent, it crashed again.
Worked around be stop file blocking service, still no luck.
Now, we downgrade the Agent to 7.0. It looks working, it can move files to Archive and place its shortcut placeholder on the file server. However, when double click on those files it didn't restore or allow to open the files.
I wonder if I need to downgrade the server from 7.5 to 7.0 as well as the agent?
If that is only solution, please anyone suggest how to save or export its configuration.. I don't wont to lose everything including files which already archived.
Or, is there any solution to fix the problem.
