I can not open a DVS file with Enterprise Vault Outlook Add In, I try but I have this error

Error in c:\Archivos de programa\Enterprise Vault\evclient\Valkirie.dll

Falta entrada: ViewDVSFile

When I open any archived message from Outlook it works correctly but when I try to open it from a folder i can not.

A few thoughts/questions :-

Are you doing this on a client machine, or on the EV server?

What version of EV are you using?  If it's 8 or higher, then you can't use the client to open a DVS file any longer, because of the implementation of OSIS.  An archived item is no longer a "simple" DVS file.

We get a similar error opening Outlook if Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 has not been installed.

Could be nothing, but could be everything...

It's actually here http://www.mitec.cz/ssv.html

I dropped a clanger and just did a quick google without paying attention to the complete URL!

If anyone remembers using the tool DVSSpy with assistance/input from Symantec Support, that's making a come back in EV 10 (hopefully).  So, really, it's better to wait for that to be available, than to battle with Structured Storage Viewer.

@Maialen Zufiaurre, do you need anything else with this issue?
