Hi Philip,

Since you have a media server appliance, could you run 'bpdbjobs -report' on master server? Do you have any active jobs listed in this report? You can use 'bpdbjobs -cancel <job_id>' to cancel those jobs.

Was your master server up and running when you were trying the upgrade? I am wondering if the appliance couldn't reach the master which might have aborted the upgrade as it didn't know the status of current jobs. Just curious.

on your Master server Cancle All active and waiting jobs.. and make sure that nothing is running.

I hope the patch can even run if master server is not up.
