2nd Nic or out of band setup for Win 2003 svr

I can't seem to find any Microsoft or web info on these steps, so I'll try here....

I'm trying to set up a out of band backup network with our win 2003 server to a Unix master Netbackup 5.1 mp5 system.  I have a 2nd network card and a separate dns name (server-bk.domain.com) but I can't find any 'how to's' or instructions off MS or the internet on how to configure a windows 2003 server with two network cards, one for LAN and one for backups, configuring the server, or host file, bindings, backup network card or DNS entry on DNS server.   The 2nd nic has its own IP, different VLAN, and DNS name, server-bk, but I can't find any info on how to set up the window 2003 server with two DNS names, other then adding an entry to the host file, and and telling the master netbackup server to back up via this 2nd DNS name or IP address.

any links or instructions would greatly be appreciated...

Ok you are trying to tie two cards to one hostname i'm guessing.

Seach for  "aggregate two nic cards windows 2003" in google, you have to do the rest.

You can bring up another card but you have to alises it

Alias one nic cards windows 2003 google it
