Adaptive server anywhere service starts and stops.

When I try to start the service, I get the message "The Adaptive Server Anywhere - VERITAS_NB service on Local Computer started and then stopped.  when I check the eventvwr, I get the following message;

The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( ASA 9.0 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: ASANYs_VERITAS_NB, Could not start server.

I tried restarting the server and reinstalling the MP's but didn't have any luck.  Would appreciate any help.

e.g. NB versions, O/S's etc.

You did mention about reinstalling MPs which means you've uninstalled some?

Additionally, have you any space issues on the server?
