Hello,
Since 2 months we experience a problem with 2 webservers (they're identical in hardware and software);
from time to time (every 3 or 4 days), the backup jobs timed out and fails.
I modified the debugging level to have logs, it works fine when the backups run well, but when the backups time out, we only have some logs for bpinetd and nbwin; not for other processes.
Something weird is when the backup fails, the service VSS coincidentally is stalled in "stopping" status (not "stopped" ) and cannot be stopped or started; I'm not sure this is related though. To solve the netbackup we can restart the service once but after the only solution is to restart the server.
I already installed the fix 913948, but it didn't solved the VSS problem.
Does someone already experienced such issue, and how was it solved ?
