Convert NetBackup 7.1 Master/Media server from Unix to Windows

I want to convert a UNIX SOLARIS 10 Master/Media server with NetBackup 7.1 from Unix to Windows.

Any advice? Are there any procedures documented on this?

Hi,

This can only be done with a Symantec Partner who offeres the service.

It cannot be done 'in house' or by Technical support

The differencies in the database between unix and windows require special tools to complete the job correctly.

It is NOT supported to attempt this manually / inhouse, and doing so will possibly lead to dataloss  and a system in such a state that Symantec will be unable to repair.
