Your STU is configured on the C-drive - the boot disk.
If you look down, you can see that this option is selected:
Okay on boot : NO

So, you chose the option that says the Storage cannot be on the boot disk.
That is why you are getting the error.

It is not advisable to have backup storage configured on the same drive as NBU. Disk Full condition can cause OS and/or NBU corruption.

Tell us about the disk storage that you have configured - local disk or network/CIFS?

Please show us output of this command (in <install-path>\veritas\netbackup\bin\admincmd) :

bpstulist -L

Copy the text output and post here.

i have install Netbackup its a master sever and media server also . and i want to configure local disk of this machine as a storage as well. the command show that it is not recognized but when i check in program file "admincmd" file is available their.

You need to create a Storage Unit before you can run any backups.

Best to have a dedicated volume for Disk Storage.

Under NetBackup Administration, go to Storage -> Storage Units.

Create a new Storage Unit. Select Basic Disk type and specify the path to the volume.

After this, you can select the Storage Unit in the Policy.

Please download NetBackup Admin Guide 1 for more info. See Handy NBU Links in my signature.

Your screenshot shows that you are trying to run admincmd folder as a command.

You either need to type in the FULL path, including 'bpstulist.exe -L' command, or else cd to admincmd, then run the command.

PS: PLEASE copy text output rather than taking screenshots.
