EMC Celerra NDMP issue

Running a virtual Celerra connecting to Netbackup 6.5.2 via NDMP. I can see the remote unit:

C:\Program Files\Veritas\Volmgr\bin>set_ndmp_attr.exe -verify lab-emc-nas

Connecting to host "lab-emc-nas" as user "ndmp"...

Waiting for connect notification message...

Opening session--attempting with NDMP protocol version 4...

Opening session--successful with NDMP protocol version 4

  host supports TEXT authentication

  host supports MD5 authentication

Getting MD5 challenge from host...

Logging in using MD5 method...

Host info is:

  host name "server_2"

  os type "DartOS"

os version "EMC Celerra File Server.T.5.6.36.2"

  host id "abc1997"

Login was successful

Host supports LOCAL backup/restore

Host supports 3-way backup/restore

Opening SCSI device "c0t0l0"...

Inquiry result is "EMC     svtlRobot       1.01"

However trying to connect to the virtual library remotely i get a mode_sense error below:

C:\Program Files\Veritas\Volmgr\bin>tldtest -r lab-emc-nas:c0t010

Opening lab-emc-nas

mode_sense failed

sense key = 0x0, asc = 0x0, ascq = 0x0, NO ADDITIONAL SENSE INFORMATION

Enter tld commands (? returns help information)

q

I should see a MODE_SENSE complete instead of MODE_SENSE failed?

I can inventory the library sucessfully, but when I run a backup against available media in the virtual library i get the following error: no storage units available for use(213)

Netbackup has all the NDMP license.

Is this just a typo on the post or is it also in your configuration?

Good spot, the mode sense works with c0t0l0 :) Although this is reported correctly under the robot tab under devices.
