Hello, friends. I've reviewed Veritas' and EMC's documentation but not found the answer (yet) to this question, so I'm posting it here.
I want to validate that EMC VNX NAS datamover configuration for enabling "scsiReserve" is compatible with my media servers' SPC-2 SCSI reserve option (currently selected.) I'm believing this to be the case, but not finding a lot of concrete information to support that belief.
Any suggestions of where to look ?

Celerras and VNXes have always worked fine with SPC-2. However, it's just wrong place to ask about features of DART OS - NBU supports both SPC-2 and persistent reservations, with the latter is considered a bit better, especially if you run clusters, but to work they just need to match on the filer in NBU. For the confirmation that DART can do SCSI-3 PR you need to reach out to EMC.
