Error bpbrm(pid=6064) db_FLISTsend failed: file open failed (12)

We were running 6.5.2 on Windows 2003 SP2 x86 and got this error on a couple of backups.

I upgraded to 6.5.3 and am still getting it on the same couple of backups.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Any more info e.g from Problems Report etc indicating file that NB is having issues with?

Type of backup? e.g. 'normal' Windows/UNIX or other (may be relevant).

Generally indicates a permissions issue but ...

***Edit***

Just for info, we have one or two of these errors ourselves at the moment - Linux on VM where the O/S is remounting the filesystems as read-only (kernel upgrade required I believe) so NB cannot 'do the necessaries' to start a backup. The NetBackup 'Problems Report' actually states that this is the error so hopefully you will get more info from there.

Have you try to use the Symantec Knowledge base? just paste db_FLISTsend failed and you will see a bounch of options.
