How do I find out what time a file was backed up f

Hi,

I would like to know what time a particular file was backed up im running netbackup 7.0.1 OS Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. Thanks in advance

using the Backup Archive & Restore GUI.

Altho' there are a few CLI commands that could provide the same info.

Hi Andy thanks for you reply I know when the file has backed up thanks but is there anyway of finding out when the file or directory was completed

Hi Midnite1971,

As far as I know, Netbackup is creating images while taking backups, so if the backup fail you just loose the whole things you were backing up at that moment. Not like Backup exec that you know exactly the time it was backed up and whether the backup fail you already have some files on your disk or tape.

to get some details about the images taken during backups you can use the bpmedialist command. Below I will give you a link to take a look and figure out how you can get the information you are looking for.
