How to add Linux client type option to policy

How to do I add Linux and/or other OS client types under

"Hardware and operating system" (that do not show up)

pull-down menu when doing add "New Client" for  a backup policy.

Master server is Solaris 9

Do I re-install the "server" software?  Will this overwrite everything?

Or, will I be be present with options to add specific OS clients?

Do I just add linux client to Solaris master server?

Help please.

Don't have CD's.  But, did download NetBackup_6.5_CLIENTS2.tar.gz and loaded

the Mac & Linux clients on Solaris master server.  These tehn appeared as options

Hardware and OS pull down when adding new client to a policy.

Install LINUX client bianries from Clients CD on your master server. This should solve your problem.
