NBU 5.1 MP3 and Vault

I seem to have a problem with NetBackup Vault since upgrading to MP3; since the upgrade when the Vault eject runs tapes are moved to the off_site pool, but are not ejected from the library (Storagetek L700). All other functions appear normal. Manual eject works fine. The Vault job runs successfully, but says zero tapes need ejected (there should be several)

Anyone any ideas?

I have many problems which MP3. I downgrade to Mp2.

you can try the mp3a, or my advice would be to go back to mp2

Bill,

What OS are you on. I had problems with Vault on AIX 5.3. yes, latest and greatest = pain! We had to get a patch from engineering, but my SE has recommended MP3a, if you are having problems with Vault. If you read the readme for 5.3 MP3a, you will notice there is a chace of data loss using Vault - check the scenario in the readme.
